Job summary

TEKsystems in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a motivated Physical Security Access Control Project Coordinator to support enterprise-wide badge access system deployment. You will assist with provisioning, validation, and user training while coordinating with facility teams.

The role is 12 months, involves travel to multiple facilities, and requires hands-on support during deployment milestones and go-live events. Strong technical aptitude and customer-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment of a new enterprise physical security badge access control system.
• Conduct on-site testing and validation of badge readers, doors, and access permissions.
• Verify door numbers, badge reader assignments, and access configurations.
• Assist with importing and validating security access data using Excel spreadsheets.
• Provide end-user support and training, including badge printing and access-related troubleshooting.
• Work with facility staff and administrators to ensure proper system setup and functionality.
• Document findings, report issues, and support resolution efforts during implementation.
• Coordinate with installation vendors responsible for reader installation, wiring, and system configuration.
• Provide hands-on support during key project milestones, including go-live events and facility rollouts.
• Travel to various facilities as required to support implementation activities.
