The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness is seeking a part-time IAC Program Assistant/Outreach Specialist in the Mission Support Bureau. The role connects the Interfaith Advisory Council with Counter-Threat programs and supports statewide outreach.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and public speaking skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and a willingness to travel across New Jersey to engage faith-based communities and partners.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience in planning, monitoring, coordinating, implementing, modifying and/or evaluating agency programs.
• Bachelor's degree plus one year of relevant experience; or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional experience involves analytical, evaluative work with specialized knowledge.
• Ability to travel statewide; valid NJ driver's license may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in administrative, analytical, and professional work to promote program planning and evaluation.
• Engage faith-based partners and develop strategic relationships statewide.
• Identify resources within OHSP and with partners for faith-based communities.
• Schedule meetings, build agendas, secure venues, and support events.
• Travel across New Jersey; some duties after hours and on weekends.
