Job summary

Private Care Management & Consultation Services seeks an Intensive In-Community (IIC) Therapist for a part-time, field-based role in New Jersey. You will provide in-home and community-based therapy to children and families, collaborating with care teams to promote stabilization and improved functioning.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a behavioral-health field and an active NJ credential. The position supports flexible scheduling, with after-school and weekend availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, MFT, nursing or related field.
• Active New Jersey credential or license in good standing (e.g., LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist).
• At least one year of relevant experience with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy in the child's home or community.
• Engage children and caregivers in strength-based, family-centered treatment.
• Implement interventions per the authorized plan of care.
• Help children develop emotional regulation, communication, coping and problem-solving skills.
• Assist caregivers with strengthening parenting strategies and family relationships.
• Provide psychoeducation and practical skill-building interventions.
• Identify safety concerns and follow crisis and reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with caregivers, care managers, schools and other providers as authorized.
• Participate in Child Family Team and treatment-planning meetings as required.
