Job summary

Sunland Construction Inc. seeks an I&E Terminator to perform electrical and instrumentation cable terminations on industrial construction projects.

This role requires accurate termination from wiring schematics with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include terminating power cables from 1000 MCM through #12 AWG, and control cable terminations rated 600V and below, reading schematics, and maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform control cable terminations rated 600V and below from wiring schematics with minimal supervision.
• Experience terminating power distribution panels, transformers, PLC cabinets, instruments, and motors.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, drawings, and termination documentation.
• Follow project specifications and safety requirements with high-quality work.
• Complete required project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Terminate electrical power cables ranging from 1000 MCM through #12 AWG.
• Perform control cable terminations rated 600V and below.
• Terminate switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, feeders, power distribution panels, transformers, PLC cabinets, instruments, and motors.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics, electrical drawings, and termination diagrams.
• Read and understand lighting-control systems and perform CAT5 terminations.
• Attend required safety meetings and training.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The I&E Terminator performs electrical and instrumentation cable terminations for industrial construction projects. This position requires the ability to complete power and control cable terminations accurately from wiring schematics with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Terminate electrical power cables ranging from 1000 MCM through #12 AWG.
• Perform control cable terminations rated 600V and below.
• Terminate switchgear, power distribution units (PDUs), remote power panels (RPPs), feeders, power distribution panels, transformers (XFMRs), programmable logic controller (PLC) cabinets, instruments, and motors.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics, electrical drawings, and termination diagrams.
• Read and understand lighting-control systems and perform CAT5 terminations.
• Attend required safety meetings and training.
• Comply with all company, client, and jobsite safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
