Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an Instrument and Electrical Technician to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations in Oklahoma. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on SCADA, control systems, and associated equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role involves reading manuals and schematics, testing safety devices per DOT/PSM, and maintaining documentation. On-call work and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with control systems maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Experience using software to troubleshoot, design, or configure control solutions: InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV.
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and PSM 1910 testing and documentation.
• Understanding of National Electric Code and OSHA 1910 related to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument/electrical equipment.
• Maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments and motor control gear.
• Maintain PLCs or DCS systems and safety controls.
• Read manuals, drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Test and document safety devices per applicable regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced workers.
