Job summary

Orion S.A. is seeking an Instrumentation and Electronics (I&E) Technician in the United States, Kansas, Belpre, to repair and install process control instrumentation, electrical equipment, sensors, and electronic devices.

Key duties include installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrically powered monitoring equipment, performing preventive maintenance on pumps and compressors, and maintaining documentation and organized workspaces.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial electronics or related field preferred; experience may substitute.
• For degreed candidates: minimum two years relevant experience; new graduates may be considered.
• For non-degreed candidates: minimum five years I&E technician experience in a chemical plant or refinery; military equivalent counts.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical process control equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, blowers, and related equipment.
• Inspect and maintain control equipment.
• Keep an organized workspace and maintain documentation of tools, parts and materials.
• Maintain required documentation and records.
