Job summary

OXEA Corporation is seeking an I&E Technician to install, calibrate and repair plant instrumentation and control systems to safely meet maintenance requirements.

You will troubleshoot complex control equipment, interpret drawings and loop sheets, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the Manufacturing Units. Strong reading of SMPs and manuals and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Technology or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, install and maintain plant instrumentation and control components across Manufacturing Units.
• Maintain complex control systems including shutdown systems and transmitters; interpret results and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, laws, regulations and company standards.
• Ensure personnel safety and equipment reliability.
• Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes to improve reliability.
• Document work in SAP or related systems and support operations during startups, shut downs and emergencies.
