Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Instrumentation-Electrical (I&E) Technician to diagnose, service, and maintain instrument and electrical systems across our plants. You will troubleshoot, repair, align, and replace PLCs, DCS hardware, motor control circuits, and power supplies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires an associate degree in industrial electrical/electronic tech and at least five years of I&E maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or cert in industrial electrical/electronic tech and 5 years of instrumentation-electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLCs and CNCs; basic programming understanding is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Trouble-shoot electrical/electronic systems and instruments.
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair PLC and/or DCS hardware, software and controls.
• Diagnose and repair AC & DC motors and control circuits.
• Maintain 480/240 Volt MCC and power distribution systems.
• Follow safety policies and work in high voltage environments.
