Air Products is seeking an I&E Technician in St. Louis, MO. The role involves installing and troubleshooting electrical equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventive maintenance high in a plant environment.

You will work with a team of operators, mechanics, and engineering support, while developing work scopes and SAP documentation. The position requires a high school diploma or GED plus five years of industrial instrumentation experience; a trade/technical degree is

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment is required.
• A trade, technical degree or apprenticeship in a related field is preferred.
• Military training will be considered in lieu of industrial experience / trade school education.
• Safety focused with strong communication and digital literacy.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Responsabilités

• Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment.
• Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures.
• Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment.
• Trouble shoot PLC equipment.
• Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks.
• Complete instrument tracking documentation.
• Complete required safety tasks and activities.
• Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders.
• Develop work scopes for equipment repair and overhaul, and provide technical reports entering SAP data.
