Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking an I&E Technician for our Membranes Solutions facility in St. Louis, MO. Shifts are 12 hours, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. with a 36–48 hour work week.

You will install and calibrate instrumentation, perform routine PMs, and troubleshoot PLC/DCS systems while coordinating with Operators, Mechanics, and Engineering staff to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5 years of industrial instrumentation/electrical experience.
• Trade/technical degree or apprenticeship preferred but not required.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS is essential.
• Safety-focused with strong communication and digital literacy.
• Able to work in a team and in on-call/overtime scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment per procedures.
• Calibrate instrumentation and perform PMs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC equipment and assist other maintenance techs.
• Document instrument tracking and SAP entries for accuracy.
• Develop work scopes for repairs and provide technical reports.
• Support facility operations by completing work orders.
