Job summary

Air Products’ Membranes Solutions facility in St. Louis, MO seeks an I & E Technician to install and troubleshoot electrical equipment, calibrate instruments, and perform preventive maintenance.

The role collaborates with Operators, Technicians, and Engineering to ensure reliable operations on a 12-hour shift (6 a.m.–6 p.m.). Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and five years of industrial instrumentation and electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment required.
• Trade or technical degree or apprenticeship preferred but not required.
• Military training will be considered in lieu of industrial experience / trade school education.
• Safety focused. Proficient communication and digital literacy.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment.
• Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures.
• Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment.
• Trouble shoot PLC equipment.
• Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks.
• Complete instrument tracking documentation.
• Complete required safety tasks and activities.
• Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders.
