Job summary

Barry Callebaut is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support a 24/7/365 manufacturing operation on rotating 12‑hour shifts. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, PLC/HMI, and related plant systems.

The role requires 3+ years of factory experience, strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, safety compliance, and the ability to work overtime and at height. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of verifiable experience with instruments and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Able to troubleshoot 4-20mA transmitters and control loops; familiar with PID controllers and industrial components.

Responsibilities

Comply with safety, sanitation, and GMP policies.
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems and three-phase electrical systems up to 480V.
Read wiring diagrams and schematics; perform maintenance and record logs in CMMS.
