Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems seeks a skilled Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician for our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facility in Creedmoor, Texas. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You must have an associate degree or technical certification (or 3+ years of experience), strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, or a related field, or at least three years of electrical and instrumentation experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices related to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation systems including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Document maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs for compliance and reporting.
Work with maintenance and operations teams to support upgrades and process improvements.
