Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Production Technician III for the RNG facility in the Dallas area. You will monitor, operate, and maintain equipment including compressors, pumps, and valves to ensure a steady supply of spec-grade RNG feedstock while complying with safety rules.

You will perform routine inspections, participate in startup/shutdown activities, document maintenance and production data, and support a clean, safe work environment with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• 1.5+ years of experience in a related role.
• Valid Driver's License (non CDL) required.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations and assist with startup, shutdown, and operations of facility equipment.
• Identify problems and resolve them; perform preventative and routine maintenance.
• Observe gauges, dials, switches, alarms, and indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Record maintenance and production activities accurately.

Education
