Job summary

Mako Oilfield Services in Sugar Land, TX seeks an experienced I&E Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems used in industrial facilities and process equipment.

You will support safe, reliable plant operations by ensuring equipment and control systems meet company and regulatory requirements, while following safety procedures and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
Experience in industrial electrical and/or instrumentation environments.
Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Ability to use electrical and instrumentation test equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and instrumentation domains.
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA electrical safety and lockout/tagout practices.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, motors, starters, VFDs, PLCs, and related equipment.
Calibrate and maintain process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments.
Troubleshoot and repair 4–20 mA, digital, pneumatic, and other instrumentation signals.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, P&IDs, and instrument documentation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration documentation, and work orders.
Follow company procedures, electrical safety requirements, lockout/tagout, and applicable standards.
