Job summary

Southern Recruiting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop and implement reliability initiatives for our processing plants. You will assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality, providing technical support on plant utilities and leading long-term solutions.

Relocation is provided. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 7+ years of applicable engineering experience in chemical or food processing, with familiarity in PM, PDM,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or chemical engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in chemical or food processing industries.
• Expert knowledge of production equipment and chemical processes.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques (PM, PDM, CMMS, RCM, TPM).
• Understanding of good engineering and safety practices.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives.
• Assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality.
• Technical resource for production personnel on plant utilities.
• Provide direction and coaching to maintenance staff.
• Lead long-term solutions to recurrent problems.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise.
• Review and optimize preventive maintenance programs.
• Implement improvement projects (scope, cost estimation, capital money, supervision, commissioning).
• Investigate frequent equipment failures to identify root cause and long-term solutions.
• Position is on-call 24/7 to support maintenance and production.
• Relocation provided.

• The Maintenance Engineer will develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives.
• Assist production to optimize plant productivity and quality.
• Technical resource for production personnel on plant utilities.
• Assist maintenance employees in their skills by giving technical advice and direction.
• Provide leadership implementing long term solutions to recurrent problems.
• Quickly provide troubleshooting and problem solving as difficulties arise.
• Review and optimize the predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Implement improvement projects (scope, cost estimation, request capital money, supervision of fieldwork, commissioning)
• Investigate frequent equipment failures to help identify root cause and implement long-term solutions
• Position is on-call 24/7 to support all aspects of maintenance and production
• Relocation provided. $110K-$135K.

Experience:

• The Maintenance Engineer will have a Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or chemical engineering preferred).
• 7 or more years of engineering experience in chemical or food processing industries.
• Expert working knowledge of production equipment and chemical processes
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques (PM, PDM, CMMS, RCM, TPM)
