Job summary

Optimized Process Designs LLC (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks an I&E Project Lead to own the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls scope for EPC projects from development through commissioning. You will drive execution across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning while aligning with cost, schedule, quality, and client objectives.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls engineering and the desire to expand impact

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience leading engineering work, project scope, or multidisciplinary project teams in industrial facilities.
Ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute projects.
Strong ownership mentality and decision-making across EPC lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead and execution owner for all Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls activities on EPC projects from proposal through startup.
Develop project estimates, scope definitions, execution strategies, and project plans.
Lead I&E execution to achieve cost, quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
Forecast resource requirements, manage risks and critical path activities, and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning efforts.
Lead client engagement, change management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
Proactively identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive issue resolution to maintain momentum.
