Job summary

Teal Energi is seeking experienced Electrical Planners and I&E Planners for contract roles in Sabine Pass, TX, supporting planning, turnaround, and maintenance execution.

Candidates should have 5–7+ years of maintenance planning experience in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities, with heavy SAP S/4HANA proficiency and hands-on field background. On-site work and strong coordination skills are essential.

Job description

Teal Energi is hiring experienced Electrical Planners and I&E Planners to support planning, turnaround, and maintenance execution. These are contract roles for planners who spent time in the field before moving into planning - hands-on experience matters here.

What you'll be doing:

• Planning maintenance, reliability, project, and turnaround activities for the asset
• Building and maintaining project and outage plans in planning software
• Creating job packs with all supporting detail for the job plan
• Coordinating work orders and schedules with Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Project teams
• Developing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and 4-year look-ahead schedules with supervisors, engineering, and technicians
• Managing dispatch of work and manpower availability alongside supervision
• Providing technical support within the CMMS modules and keeping work order documentation clean
• Identifying material requirements and interfacing with vendors and supply chain
• Supporting KPI development and schedule compliance reporting, with emphasis on maintenance/inspection regulatory compliance - including deviation, variation, and trend analysis
• Writing and revising procedures, recommending training, and assisting with budget development

What we're looking for:

• 5-7+ years of maintenance experience using SAP in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities
• Heavy working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA - this one is non-negotiable
• Strong planning, scheduling, and execution background (processes, procedures, best practices)
• Hands-on field experience
• Solid understanding of electrical - plus instrumentation for the I&E role
• Work estimation and planning exposure across scaffolding, painting, insulation, rigging/lifting, welding, fabrication, and machining
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree is a plus

Nice to have:

• Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Scheduling software definition and build experience
• PHMSA-regulated pipeline facility experience
• Gas compression and metering equipment experience

Requirements:

• TWIC card - strong preference for candidates holding one, but we'll work with you if yours is expired or you're willing to obtain one
• Current, valid state-issued driver's license
