Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Manager to lead a team of I&E technicians supporting natural gas compression operations. You will drive safety, reliability, and technical excellence across field and plant environments.

You will provide leadership to engineers, coordinate with operations, supply chain, and vendor partners, review drawings, manage maintenance programs, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets while maintaining top-tier safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred.
• ISA CCST or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of I&E technicians supporting natural gas compression operations.
• Ensure electrical and instrumentation systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to safety and reliability standards.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with operations, engineering, and vendors.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and cost control for I&E projects.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across the fleet.
• Support audits, inspections, and external meetings as a subject matter expert.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and CMMS.
• Promote safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork within the department.
