Job summary

Air Liquide Geismar, LA is hiring an I&E Maintenance Technician to ensure day-to-day maintenance and reliable operation of equipment, instrumentation, analyzers, and electrical systems. You will calibrate instrumentation, repair PLCs, and log activities in the CMMS, while coordinating with contractors and ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to respond to sites within two hours when on call.

Qualifications

• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation on production plants, gas delivery systems, and liquid bulk systems.
• Maintain and repair PLCs, computers equipment, single loop controllers and operator interfaces.
• Troubleshoot plant control system issues and assist with design of instrumentation related controls.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation on production plants, gas delivery systems, and liquid bulk systems.
• Maintain and repair PLCs, computers equipment, single loop controllers and operator interfaces.
• Repair instrumentation as identified in work requests in the CMMS and tune P&ID control loops.
• Log instrumentation and controls activities in CMMS and operations logs.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure safe, compliant work practices.
