Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team in Channelview, TX.

This fully office-based role blends hands-on electrical and instrumentation engineering with project‑level leadership across design through startup. You will develop electrical and instrumentation deliverables, Define scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate procurement, review PFDs/P&IDs, and support construction,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• P.E. license in Texas is preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and instrumentation deliverables for energy facilities.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activities.
• Review PFDs and P&IDs for instrumentation tagging and control philosophy.
• Serve as Project Engineer with responsibility for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide field support during construction, commissioning and startup.
