Job summary

RigUp in Wood River, IL is seeking a skilled Instrument & Electrical Designer to support design and MOC processes for refinery projects. You will create and revise I&E drawings, assist across project phases, and manage SPI migrations.

The role requires SPI knowledge, proficiency in AutoCAD and Office, and experience with refinery environments. You will mentor junior designers and perform field walk-downs as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Instrument & Electrical Design.
• In-depth knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical standards, methods and practices.
• Experience with SPI migrations and refinery environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise I&E drawings throughout design and MOC processes.
• Provide design assistance across project phases.
• Track and report progress for SPI migration projects.
• Manage SPI database for refinery units.
• Oversee and train other Designers/Drafters in SPI usage.
