YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking a Direct Support Professional in New Jersey to assist adults with I/DD in daily living activities, social engagement, and community participation. You will follow individualized plans, monitor safety, and document progress for care teams.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting. Training and supervision are provided by YAI NJ programs.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with no more than five points.
• Ability to meet essential physical demands and assist with ADLs including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centered supports and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain safety, observe behavior, and escalate risks appropriately.
• Document services and maintain records for billing and compliance.
• Collaborate with circle of support and attend team meetings.
