Job summary

Enercon is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Project Engineer to lead dynamic design projects, craft technically strong proposals, and manage client relationships across multiple U.S. locations, with occasional remote work.

You will oversee schedules, financials, and reporting while guiding teams to deliver on time and within budget. Qualified candidates bring 6+ years in nuclear or power industries as an I&C Engineer or PM, a relevant engineering degree or PMP, and PE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience
• I&C Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an I&C Engineer or Project Manager
• Professional Engineer Licensure strongly preferred
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
