Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an Instrumentation & Controls engineer/tech to develop detailed design packages and provide field technical support for process measurement and control systems.

You will create drawings, schematics, and control logic for batch and continuous processes using analog and digital instrumentation and PLC/HMI systems, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and DOE requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality detailed design packages for I&C systems.
• Provide engineering procurement and field technical support for project implementation.
• Create control system narratives and input to P&IDs.
• Develop process control system diagrams and instrument loop drawings.
