Job summary

Strata-G, LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer/Instrument & Controls to design and implement complex I&C systems for energy and environmental projects. You will develop detailed design packages and provide field support to ensure safe, reliable operation in Oak Ridge, TN.

Responsibilities include producing control cabinet drawings, system diagrams, PLC/HMI logic, and P&IDs while applying NEC, UL 508A, ISA standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience and >3 years instrumentation and controls design.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation industrial automation software (RSLogix, FactoryTalk View).
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality detailed design packages for electrical & I&C projects.
• Provide engineering procurement and field technical support to implement designs.
• Troubleshoot plant systems and perform technical assessments of equipment.
• Prepare conduit/cable schedules, one‑line diagrams, wiring schematics, and I&C drawings.
