Job summary

CTS Complete Technical Services seeks a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to lead design and project execution for refinery systems in the Corpus Christi area. You will own instrumentation design for major capital projects, ensure DCS/SIS integration, and provide lifecycle leadership from FEL through commissioning.

• DCS migrations or control system upgrades.
• SIS implementations and SIL/compliance experience.
• New unit builds or major revamps (brownfield/greenfield).
• Coordination with EPCs, OEMs, and multi-disciplinary teams; design reviews, FAT/SAT, commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Approve I&C engineering designs, standards, and specifications.
• Lead resolution of complex technical/design issues.
• Drive instrument reliability and design standardization.
• Support PHA/HAZOP/LOPA/SIL and ensure PSM compliance.
• Interface with Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams.
• Oversee instrumentation selections: transmitters, valves, and safety systems.
• Coordinate with field teams during startup and commissioning.
