Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. seeks an experienced I&C Engineer to design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater projects. You will prepare specifications, drawings, and start-up activities, while coordinating with project teams and clients.

The role requires 10 years of I&C design experience, proficiency with Rockwell/Siemens PLCs and VTScada HMIs, and a BS in EE/CE/CS. A valid driver's license is essential. ESOP and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• 10 years I&C design and programming experience.
• Experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs; VTScada HMIs.
• Familiar with I&C drawings and P&ID.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare specifications and drawings; write control system descriptions; conduct start-up activities.
• Implement Ethernet LANs and wireless radio networks.
• Use AutoCAD to design instrument/control drawings, installation details and panel layouts.
• Create instrument material take-offs from drawings.
• Collaborate with PMs, project team and client to implement solutions.
