McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking an I&C Specialist III to design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water and wastewater projects.

You will program PLCs/HMIs, use AutoCAD for control panels, loops, and wiring, and contribute to start-up and commissioning activities. The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, extensive I&C experience, and excellent collaboration with project teams, regulators, and clients.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 15 years of I&C design and PLC/SCADA programming experience.
• Extensive experience with system networking, I&C drawings (loops, cabinet layout/wiring) and P&ID drawings.
• Extensive experience programming PLCs and HMIs across various PLCs and SCADA software.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with Project Managers, Contractors and Regulators.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize and program PLC control systems, SCADA systems, and HMI software to design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare specifications and drawings, write control system descriptions, and perform start up and commissioning activities with minimal input from other personnel.
• Understand and implement communications systems such as Ethernet LANs and wireless radio systems.
• Create instrument material take-offs from drawings.
• Work closely with Project Managers, project team, and clients to implement solutions.
