Job summary
Advanced Integration & Controls seeks an I&C Engineer II in Temecula to lead design, development, and execution of automation systems for water and wastewater projects. You will interpret project plans, select instrumentation, design control panels, and create wiring diagrams and BOMs while coordinating across PM, Production, and Field Services.
The role emphasizes engineering documentation, field support during startup, and adherence to NEC/OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, controls, industrial, or computer engineering; EIT/PE licensure preferred
- Proficient knowledge of PLCs and SCADA with design and analysis experience
- 1–4 years of experience in design and analysis of automation systems
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering design and submittals for automation systems
- Develop wiring diagrams, SLDs, panel elevations, and BOMs
- Prepare submittal packages and commissioning support
- Coordinate with Project Management, Production, and Field Services
- Ensure compliance with NEC/OSHA and quality standards
- Provide on-site field support during startup and commissioning
