Job summary

Advanced Integration & Controls in Temecula, CA is seeking a System Integration Automation Engineer to develop, implement, and support instrumentation, controls, and automation systems for water and wastewater processes.

Responsibilities include configuring PLCs, SCADA, and networking; designing IO databases; developing PLC programs; testing, commissioning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, controls, industrial, or computer engineering. Advanced degrees welcomed.
• Experience with PLCs and SCADA across water/wastewater projects.
• Familiar with OT networking and industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects with Pre-Sales and Initiation teams.
• Maintain IO Database (IODB) with PLC hardware, I/O, and tag mapping.
• Develop PLC programs and SCADA applications per PCN and standards.
• Configure SCADA and networking equipment including switches and reporting.
• Perform testing, validation, and onsite commissioning; address punch items.
