Job summary

Stellix Global Services in Foxborough, MA is seeking an I&C Engineer to blend control panel design with field engineering. You will support instrumentation, electrical systems, and control panel layouts across DCS and PLC platforms for diverse industrial projects. The role requires 3+ years in engineering, a B.S.

in electrical engineering, and knowledge of NEC, UL 508A, ISA standards, and sensor technologies. Occasional travel and a strong safety focus are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in related engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and process control.
• Familiarity with UL 508A, NEC, IEC, ISA standards.
• Experience with sensors (thermocouples, RTDs, pressure/flow).
• CAD proficiency in electrical design tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).

Responsibilities

• Design instrumentation, control panels, and materials per customer needs.
• Lead control system startups, loop checks, commissioning, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot analogue/digital signals and fieldbus protocols.
• Oversee electrical installation vendors and FAT/pre-FAT activities.
• Perform PLC and DCS system troubleshooting.
• Support FEED studies and sales scoping activities.
• Uphold safety standards and halt work if required.
• Travel 30–75% within New England; lift up to 50 lbs.
