Job summary

Stellix Global Services is seeking an I&C Engineer in Massachusetts to design instrumentation, control panels, and electrical layouts for industrial projects. You will support startups, commissioning, and documentation across DCS and PLC platforms, interfacing with customers to deliver innovative control solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in engineering, strong knowledge of electrical principles, and CAD proficiency. Travel is substantial within New England; safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• 3+ years in related engineering field.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, process control theory, schematics and wiring diagrams, UL 508A, NEC/UL IEC ISA standards, and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify instrumentation, control panels, and materials based on customer needs.
• Perform control system startups, loop checks, commissioning, and generate documentation/punch lists.
• Troubleshoot analog/discrete signals and protocols (HART, Fieldbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, AS-I, Ethernet I/P, ProfiNET, Modbus).
• Manage electrical installation vendors, review submittals, and execute pre-FAT/FAT for green or brownfield installations.
• Perform PLC & DCS system troubleshooting at the hardware level.
• Support Front End Engineering and Design studies and sales proposals.
