Job summary

Stellix Global Services in Foxborough, MA, is seeking an I&C Engineer to design control panels and field instrumentation for DCS & PLC platforms. You will work with customers to deliver innovative solutions in dynamic industrial environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical engineering, 3+ years in related engineering, and knowledge of electrical schematics, control theory, NEC/UL standards, and sensor types. Travel up to 75% in New England.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• 3+ years in related engineering field.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, process control theory, schematics and wiring diagrams, NEC/UL 508A/IEC/ISA standards, and sensor types.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify instrumentation, control panels, and materials based on customer needs.
• Perform control system startups, loop checks, commissioning, and generate documentation/punch lists.
• Troubleshoot analog/discrete signals and protocols (HART, Fieldbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, AS-I, Ethernet I/P, ProfiNET, Modbus).
• Manage electrical installation vendors, review submittals, and execute pre-FAT/FAT for green or brownfield installations.
• Perform PLC & DCS system physical layer troubleshooting.
• Support Front End Engineering and Design studies.
• Support sales proposals (estimates, walkdowns, scoping, BOM generation).
• Ensure uncompromising quality and safety; authority to halt work if compromised.
