Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks an I&C Engineer for the Cedar Creek project in Texas, overseeing instrumentation and controls design for a 1,100 MW gas-turbine facilities. You will govern the control system, instrumentation, turbine controls, and fire and gas detection to support reliable operation.

Collaborate with the site team to review narratives, diagrams, and alarm philosophy, while tracking deliverables and ensuring preservation and storage requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in instrumentation and controls engineering for power or process plants.
• Experience with distributed control systems and turbine control integration.
• Knowledge of ISA standards and functional safety.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Procore; experience with AI tools for human verification.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As I&C Engineer you govern the instrumentation and controls design on the owner's behalf: the control system, instrumentation, turbine controls, and fire and gas detection.
