Pacifico Energy seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead the owner's engineering team for the Cedar Creek project and govern contractor design against specifications. You will evaluate change requests and own the design review process, interfacing with the Project Director to ensure technical alignment on a major energy infrastructure initiative.
The role requires 15+ years of power plant engineering experience, hands-on gas turbine design, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Pacifico Energy develops, finances, builds, and operates energy infrastructure that powers businesses and communities. In the U.S., we are tackling one of the biggest challenges facing AI and large-scale data centers: access to reliable power. Our private grids bring dedicated generation and energy storage directly to customers, helping projects move forward without waiting for traditional utility connections. We draw on Pacifico Energy Group’s experience across the U.S., Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, spanning solar, wind, battery storage, and natural gas. Joining Pacifico means helping turn ambitious energy projects into operating infrastructure, with work that connects directly to the people and businesses building the future of AI.
Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As Project Engineering Manager you lead the owner's engineering team, govern the contractor's design, and lead technical evaluation of every change request. When the design is challenged, yours is the judgement that has to hold.
