Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking an experienced I&C Construction Manager for Cedar Creek, a major gas-turbine power project. You will oversee field instrument installation, control system hardware, and instrument cable work, ensuring safety and quality across all construction activities.

You will bring 12+ years in I&C construction on power or process plants and 5+ years in supervising, plus experience representing an owner under lump-sum EPC contracts. ISA standards knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in I&C construction on power or process plants.
• 5+ years supervising.
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
• Hands-on experience with distributed control systems and turbine control interfaces.
• Working knowledge of ISA standards and hazardous area installation.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field instrument installation, mounting and impulse lines.
• Monitor control system hardware installation and cabinet work.
• Track instrument cable installation, terminations and loop integrity.
• Oversee fire and gas detection system installation.
• Review construction work packages and flag scope or constraint gaps early.
• Attend system walkdowns and identify punch list items.
• Monitor preservation and storage of instruments and control hardware.

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As I&C Construction Manager you represent the owner for instrumentation and controls installation across the plant.
