Job summary

Cindavi is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the I&C and electrical engineering team at our Madison, WI site. You will oversee design, development, procurement, and testing of control systems for medical isotope production facilities, mentoring a skilled team and driving platform standardization.

This onsite leadership role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and timely design releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical/Computer preferred).
• 7–10+ years in engineering with proven management track record.
• Strong electrical engineering competence in power distribution or I&C, plus PLC scripting knowledge.
• Proven ability to build relationships, lead cross-functional teams, drive organizational synergy.
• Strong mindset for continual improvement and process evaluation.
• Experience in automation within medical instruments, radiopharma, or nuclear industries preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming and embedded C is highly preferred.
• Experience with machine design and building factories or automation systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead a team of I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems, instruments, and power supply design.
• Mentor engineers in technology, decision making, and ownership of I&C equipment.
• Lead integration of software and electrical teams to function cohesively and produce unified outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional managers to establish common technology standards and platforms for controls.
• Oversee development of digital and analog control systems, including DCS, PAC/PLC, and DAQ systems.
• Participate in design reviews, design releases, and prioritize troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper release of documentation and support equipment installation and commissioning.
