The role emphasizes AutoCAD drafting of instrumentation/control drawings and field verification. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to read electrical/instrumentation drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and redline AutoCAD instrumentation and controls drawings.
• Develop drawing packages for PLC upgrade and controls projects.
• Manage engineering drawing revisions and document control processes.
• Retrieve and update drawings within the document management system.
• Perform field walkdowns, measurements, tie-in verification, and as-built documentation.
• Review and incorporate engineering design changes.
• Coordinate with warehouse and panel shop teams to ensure project materials are available when needed.
• Conduct peer reviews and quality checks on drawings.
• Communicate project progress, clarify technical details, and identify deviations from design standards.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
