Job summary

NANA Worley headquarters in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a developing designer to support drawings, 3D models, and design documentation under guidance from senior staff. This is a full-time, non-rotational role located at our Anchorage headquarters.

The candidate should have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, and at least 3 years in mechanical/piping drafting for oil & gas. Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology from an accredited institution or equivalent years of design experience.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design in the oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and applies codes, procedures, standards and specifications to accurately and efficiently produce designs which conform to applicable codes and specifications.
• Accurately develops material takeoffs and estimates.
• Proficiently operates AutoCAD systems and uses computer-assisted design software and equipment to perform design tasks.
• Inspects equipment for conformance with design specifications and analyzes product requirements to determine feasible designs.
• Stays updated on engineering publications to incorporate current industry developments.
