Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and redline AutoCAD instrumentation and controls drawings.

• Manage engineering drawing revisions and document control processes.
• Retrieve and update drawings within the document management system.
• Perform field walkdowns, measurements, tie-in verification, and as-built documentation.
• Review and incorporate engineering design changes.
• Coordinate with warehouse and panel shop teams to ensure project materials are available when needed.
• Conduct peer reviews and quality checks on drawings.
• Communicate project progress, clarify technical details, and identify deviations from design standards.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Designer / Drafter – Prudhoe Bay, Alaska | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Rotation. We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Designer/Drafter to support PLC upgrade and industrial controls projects on Alaska's North Slope. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys working with electrical and instrumentation drawings, performing field verification, and supporting critical control system projects. Whether you're an experienced I&C Designer or an early-career professional with strong drafting skills and a willingness to learn, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Experience supporting instrumentation, controls, or industrial automation projects
• Field verification, as-built, or drawing revision experience

Note: PLC programming experience is not required.

• Charter transportation provided between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay
