Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Construction Management Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects for Instrumentation & Controls and Network infrastructure systems. You will work with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-schedule, on-budget delivery and successful facility turnover.

The role involves reviewing drawings, RFIs, submittals, coordinating with contractors, and overseeing cable routing and system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting large commercial construction projects (semiconductor, dataplane/datacenter experience is a plus).
  • Experience coordinating engineering construction, contractors and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, Submittals, field issue resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced construction environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools and ability to create Jira trackers.
  • Preferred: experience with Instrumentation & Controls systems, Industrial networking or low voltage infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting commissioning and startup, system turnover activities.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing facilities or industrial process systems.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management and contract coordination.
  • Experience using PM tools such as Jira, Bluebeam, ACC and similar platforms.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop standardized workflow to improve project execution.

Position Summary

The Construction Management Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects for Instrumentation & Controls and Network infrastructure systems. This role works closely with engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design and quality requirements, while supporting commissioning and successful facility turnover.

Skills and Qualifications

Salary

The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.

Total compensation for this position

Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
