Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Field Superintendent to lead the I&C team on a hyper-scale data center project in Childress, TX. The role is field-based, reporting to the Project Superintendent, and requires coordination with multiple stakeholders to meet safety and performance goals.

The position entails supervising subcontractors, managing schedules, RFIs, submittals, cost control, and QA/QC, while ensuring compliance with all codes and site

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years' instrumentation and controls construction experience.
• Experience with I&C installations on large industrial and hi-tech fabrication projects.
• OHSA 30 Certification.
• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering/construction management preferred.
• Strong understanding of design and construction documentation reading.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, I&C subcontractors, and other discipline subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust the project schedule as necessary.
• Manage RFIs and submittal materials for client/architect review.
• Manage cost control and QA/QC program.
• Enforce safety protocols on site.
• Provide resolutions to design and constructability issues.
• Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
