Job summary

OnQGlobalCx in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced I&C/BMS Construction Manager to oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of instrumentation & controls and building management systems on a large-scale mission-critical project. You will manage subcontractors, ensure quality and safety, and drive turnover of critical control systems.

Responsibilities include leading on-site supervision, coordinating interfaces between process utilities, electrical, mechanical, and IT/OT

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management with a focus on controls, automation and building systems.
• Experience on mission-critical projects such as data centers or advanced facilities.
• Strong knowledge of I&C (sensors, transmitters, PLC/DCS) and BMS platforms.
• Ability to read P&IDs, single-lines and control schematics.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site supervision of subcontractors for I&C and BMS work.
• Coordinate interfaces between utilities, electrical/mechanical systems and IT/OT networks.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, codes and industry standards.
• Conduct daily walkdowns, inspections and progress monitoring for I&C/BMS scopes.
• Support functional testing, loop checks and commissioning activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, redlines and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with design teams and client reps to resolve technical issues.
• Track progress, risks and mitigation strategies to project leadership.
• Promote a safety-first culture with strict EHS adherence.
