Job summary

Carter Myers Automotive in the Richmond region is seeking an Automotive Technician with 3+ years of experience to diagnose and repair Hyundai and Kia vehicles, tackle advanced diagnostics, electrical and drivability work, plus engine/transmission, brakes, suspension, steering and HVAC maintenance.

You'll use CDK and current scan tools, document findings for service advisors, and have opportunities in hybrid/EV work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience as a technician or mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with import vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Hyundai and Kia vehicles.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Work on engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering and HVAC.
• Document findings for service advisors and use current scan tools.
• Assist with hybrid/EV work as available.
