Job summary

Autoworld Kia, part of Generation Auto Group, seeks an experienced Automotive Technician (A/B Level) to diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles to dealer standards. Experience with Hyundai/Genesis is valued, with ongoing manufacturer training provided.

The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, efficient repairs, and teamwork in a fast-paced dealership environment; candidacy includes Kia certs and ASEs as pluses.

Qualifications

• A or B Level Automotive Technician experience required.
• Kia experience strongly preferred (Hyundai/Genesis valued).
• Kia certifications are a plus.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient using scan tools, digital inspections, diagnostic equipment, and dealership software.
• Own a complete set of professional automotive tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
• Commitment to continuous learning and manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across engine, electrical, drivability, and HVAC systems.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts usage; complete MPI notes with photos/videos when required.
• Communicate repair status and additional recommendations with Service Advisors and customers.
• Mentor and assist other technicians; maintain safe, clean work environment.
