Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group's Napleton's Valley Hyundai in Aurora, IL is hiring Journeyman Technicians to join a busy shop servicing over 100 cars per day.

You will diagnose and repair to factory standards across brakes, exhaust, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems, and explain repairs to customers. Benefits include paid training, certifications, and comprehensive medical, dental, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ Journeyman Technician experience.
• Self-starter with a process-driven approach.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local regulations.
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay
