Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Journeyman Technician to join our busy shop at Napleton's Valley Hyundai, repairing and maintaining vehicles to factory standards. The role emphasizes customer trust through accurate diagnosis and professional repair, with a focus on efficiency and quality work in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician as stated in the job description.
• Candidate should be a self-starter with a process-driven approach.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as required by local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company policies.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, computer systems).
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to customers or non-mechanical staff.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training and seminars.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

We are looking for Journeyman Techs that are looking to join a busy shop, servicing over 100 cars per day!!

Located at Napleton's Valley Hyundai, the Technician is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
