Job summary

Berman Hyundai in Lincolnwood, IL is seeking an experienced Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union Local 701) to join our service team. The right candidate will diagnose complex vehicle concerns and deliver exceptional customer service in a busy shop.

Pay is $45.15 per flat rate hour, commensurate with experience and certifications. We offer union shop stability, company-paid health insurance and pension, ASE certifications paid, tool insurance, uniforms, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• ASE Certified and valid driver''s license required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds and physical work.
• Ability to follow Hyundai standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools.
• Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
• Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins.
