Job summary

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, offers a CO-OP at our SRE facility. The role rotates through three semesters, with on-site work in our lab and office settings.

You will work with engineers on test hardware, data collection, analysis, and reporting, and may travel to off-site facilities. The position requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a government security clearance, and completion of freshman year in aerospace, mechanical, or materials engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design of test hardware using solid modeling software.
• Test preparation including drawings, text requests, and documentation.
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Laboratory test method development.
• Perform other duties and assist other employees as assigned.
